Starting
The first step is to make an appointment in Eugonia, giving you the opportunity to meet the manager of the unit and the rest of the team.
Medical history
Βring with you all preceding tests you have done; they will be recorded in detail in your medical file along with other personal information.
Gynecology examination
To complete your medical file, we will proceed with a gynecology examination involving a transvaginal ultrasound. This will help us estimate your ovarian reserve and gain a picture of the uterine morphology.
Further investigation
The manager of the Unit may propose additional tests for further investigation such as:
- Hormonal check-up combined with transvaginal ultrasound at the beginning of your cycle
- Hysterosalpingography
- Semen analysis for the male partner
- In case of gynecological findings requiring surgical treatment: Laparoscopy or Hysteroscopy
- Assisted reproductive techniques, such as intrauterine insemination or in vitro fertilization
Suggested treatment
The suggested treatment and selection of the right course of treatment depend upon:
- Your age
- The duration of infertility
- Whether you have already undertaken fertility treatments
- The results of the tests and the information in your medical history
