Clinical Embryologist

Irini was born in Athens. She graduated from the University of Wales Aberystwyth - Department of Biology in 2002 with a BSc in Genetics. She continued her studies in England where she obtained a master’s degree in "Assisted Reproduction Technologies" of the University of Nottingham in 2004.

She was trained as an embryologist at the University Hospital of Ioannina IVF Unit, the University Hospital Attikon IVF Unit and the “Mitera” Maternity Hospital IVF Unit.

She has worked as an embryologist at “Genesis” IVF Unit in Patras – Greece for one year and at “Biogenetics Centre” IVF Unit for two years. She has also worked  as a Reproductive Biologist at “Fertlab” Centre of Human Reproduction and Sperm Cryopreservation Bank in Athens for four years.

Irini has taken part in and attended many international and greek conferences. She is a member of the Hellenic Association of Clinical Embryologists (PEKE).

She joined Eugonia as an Embryologist in April 2022.
